Just some nerd, making art.
Usually out of duct tape.
βI donβt see prices! How do I buy your stuffff?β
Great Question! e-mail me! Let me know what youβre interested in, Iβll send you a form and weβll talk! Iβm still too new and small to set up an online store, so weβll have to do this the old fashioned way. My original art - like textured art, string art, pet portraits and artisan crafts - are for sale. You can search through my portfolio for something you like, or send me a request for a custom order that youβve dreamt up yourself.
Please note, Iβm not always able to accept custom orders. I have restrictions due to: Skill level, style, disability, copywrite infringement, access to materials, shipping costs/methods, current orders or even a myriad of personal reasons.
But Kendra, why is so much of your art not for sale?β
My duct tape sculptures are just too precious, and I will hang on to them, white-knuckled, to my grave or until Iβm done exhibiting them around the world, or until someone makes me an offer I canβt refuse.
As for the rest? As a self-taught artist, just beginning her journey, I find myself using inspiration from other artistβs pages, Pintrest or Google. I find their art beautiful and I want to study techniques and try my hand at any composition, color and subjects that makes my heart pitter-patter when I see it. Since this art is not originally mine, I cannot take credit, nor can I sell it.
Because I take so much pride in my accomplishments as a budding artist, I still choose to share the photos of my rendition and use my Instagram, and this website, as more of a portfolio to showcase my skillset. I just really like my art, and wanna put the βartβ in braggart (braggART), even if Iβm not the original genius behind the subject itself. Plus, the more you know about my style and skillset, the more youβre able to come up with ideas for your own custom order!
